The Lee County Labor Chapter AFL-CIO & it’s Working Iowa Neighbors (WIN) committee, work together and the committee conduct meetings to discuss and decide on an interview schedule with candidates running for Local office in Lee County. These committee members help determined if someone running for office is in the interests of organized labor. Candidates are sent a questionnaire to be filled out and returned and scheduled for an interview. Candidates who do not fill out a questionnaire cannot be considered for endorsement.
