The Lee County Labor Chapter serves Lee County in Iowa. We have over 22 affiliated union locals and organizations who represent workers in the area
The purpose of the Lee County Labor Chapter is to build solidarity among unions and within our communities.
Numerous issues affect working families in Lee County, across the country and around the world that need our attention and need to be addressed. From our current struggle for good jobs & safe jobs, to our past struggles to increase the minimum wage, and ongoing struggles for quality affordable health care, union members fight for what’s right for the entire community, not just ourselves. When the paycheck stops – we’re here to help support!
Supporting each other is what Solidarity is all about.
The Lee County Labor Chapter is there to help plan actions, rallies, spread the word and build support for issues affecting working families – among our union brothers and sisters and our larger communities.
We build Solidarity by working together with other unions, community organizations, student groups, faith-based organizations and many others on issues of common concern.
If you have an issue that you think needs to be addressed, contact the Lee County Labor Chapter at president@leecountylaborchapter.org
